A pot of 50,000 euros for the V edition of the International Journalism Award dedicated to MoS

Grimaldi Magazine Mare Nostrum announces the launch of the fifth annual International Journalism Award Mare Nostrum Awards. The purpose of this contest is to emphasize the importance of the Motorways of the Sea, representing a unique opportunity for sustainable development of Mediterranean countries. The jackpot prize will be 50,000 euros and given to the best five works performed, and each winner will receive a prize of 10,000 euros.
Grimaldi Magazine Mare Nostrum invited to attend all journalists, writers and photographers to publish July 31, 2012 a work on the Motorways of the Sea, highlighting the advantages of these maritime connections in economic, social and environmental. Prizes will be awarded to journalism, documentaries, television and radio, photographic services, economy and tourism reports to respect the aims of the contest, conducted in Italian, English, Spanish, Catalan, French or Greek.
Participation is open to authors living in Italy, Spain, Greece, Tunisia and Morocco and the work must be disclosed in these countries in newspapers and magazines of national circulation and online publications logistics, transport and tourism (including the online version) news agencies, radio and television, photography magazines and photo exhibitions.
Authors interested in participating in the Mare Nostrum Awards will be offered a round trip in one of the ships of Grimaldi Lines or Minoan Lines in service between Italy, Spain, Greece, Tunisia and Morocco before July 20, 2012 .
The winning entries will be selected by an international jury chaired by Folco Quilici, writer and film director, and composed of personalities from the worlds of culture and journalism.
Participants must bring their work before August 20, 2012 by conventional mail to the Organizing Secretariat mare Nostrum Awards.
